Reports -- Sharing

Takedown's Sharing feature allows the user to convert the on-screen display into a file which is handed off to an associated app, saved to the file system or sent to a compatible printer. It is intended to give the user ultimate flexibility in communicating with various audiences and is limited only by the the kinds of apps you've installed on your iPad.

Usage

• Tap the Sharing icon
• If more than one file format is available, select the desired file format
• Select the destination
• Generally, you can store a file, edit a file, print a file or send it to another app such as email or Instagram. Destination options depend on the apps installed on your iPad.
• The list of apps is shown is customizable and scrollable. If you don't see the app of interest, scroll the list.

File Formats

• PDF
  • Most popular document format. Renders on any device
  • Not easily editable.
  • Multipage reports will offer different pagination options: Auto Pagination and Event Per Page
  • Popular destinations: email, Adobe Acrobat, Apple Notes, Apple Books, Save to Files, Markup
  • Best format for saving signed documents using Markup
  • Incompatible with popular social media platforms
• Image
  • JPEG format
  • Most popular image format. Renders on any device
  • Easily edited on iPad or any other device
  • Popular destinations: email, Facebook, Instagram, X(formerly Twitter), Apple Photos, Save to Files
  • Use this format for posting reports to social media
• CSV
  • Comma Separated Values
  • Popular date interchange format.
  • Used mostly with email apps
  • This format is easily imported by spreadsheets and other data analysys tools
• Text
  • Applies only to Box Score
  • Renders Box Score for a single event into the two text formats accepted by newspapers and most digital media.
  • Best apps are Apple Mail or Gmail
  • Text is automatically inserted into the body of an email message for easily sending your results to any media outlet.
