Match |
A contest between two wrestlers. |
Event | A dual meet or tournament on your Schedule |
Schedule | A list of Events. A Schedule is specific to a Season. All Events on a Schedule must have a date between the Start and End dates of a Season. |
Roster | A list of wrestlers on your team. A Roster is specific to a Season |
Opponent Team | All of the teams against which you might compete. The list of Opponent Teams is Season-specific. In order to Schedule a dual meet, the team must appear in the list of Opponent Teams. |
Season |
A Season contains all data -- scoring, video, attendance, weight, equipment, etc. -- for a list of Rostered wrestlers over a specific time period. Seasons are isolated from each other so that changing data in one Season does not affect any other Season. Data from multiple Seasons can be combined and aggregated in Reports. Users can create as many Seasons as necessary. Each Season contains four navigable elements:
|
My Team |
Establishes the brand identity for your team. Contains your Team Name, State, Team Shortname and Logo. My Team contains two navigable elements:
|
Apple Sharing symbol |
For sending content outside of an app. The symbol is a square with an embedded up arrow. Used throughout Takedown for sharing content. |
Reports | Section of the app that generates all of the statistical and team managerment reports. |
MWC | Minimum Weight Class. From the weight certification process. Lowest weight class at which a wrestler can compete at any time during the season. |
MWW | Minimum Wrestling Weight. From the weight certification process. Wrestler's weight at minimum body fat percentage, typically 7% for boys. |
Filter |
In Reports, a Filter is used to narrow or expand the data scope for generating a Report. Filter types are report-specific though most Reports allow for filtering on Season, Event, Wrestler and Competition Level. Filter values are report-specific so that filters configured for one report do not impact filters set in any other report. |
Primary Contact | In Contacts, an entry tagged as a "Primary Contact" will receive all emails we send to our customers. Other Contacts will receive few, if any, emails from us. It is critical that each team has at least one Primary Contact with a monitored email address. The email address used in your Takedown log in credentials is automatically added as a Primary Contact even though it doesn't appear on Contacts. |
