My Team -- Edit your School Name or School Short Name

School Name

During account creation, you're prompted to create a School Name. You can change your School Name to anything at any time. 

1. Go to My Team
2. Tap Edit on right panel
3. Tap the School Name field
4. Edit your School Name as required
5. Tap Done

Note: don't include a competition level or dates in the School Name. Those tags are set elsewhere in Takedown.

If you're using Takedown for multiple teams -- JV/V and Junior High, for instance -- then you can use a more generic School Name, e.g. Canton Area rather than Canton Area High School. Differentiate between schools in the Season name, e.g. "2022 - 2023 High School" and "2022 - 2023 Junior High".

School Short Name

Takedown's content generation is optimized for short names in ALL CAPS, so BURL rather than Burl. 

A new account will have a default team short name. You can change your short name at any time.

2. Tap Edit on right panel
3. Tap the School Short Name field
4. Edit your short name as required
5. Tap Done
