Here are two real world scorebooks for training your Takedown operator(s). The goal is for your operator to recreate these scorebooks in Takedown.
Here's how to do that:
- Create a Season called "Training." This will keep the data generated by the training exercise segregated from your competition data.
- Print out the scorebook(s) you want your operator to recreate and give them the hardcopy. Or, you could direct them to this page and they can use a digital copy.
- It isn't possible to perfectly recreate these scorebooks. For example, the match end time (and date for the tournament) will be different. Also, the training matches won't be scored live so all of the weight classes will be underscored in the scorebook recreation.
- Additional information for your operator:
- All rosters are 2021-2022, Boys High School, from Michigan
- In the tournament, the John Glenn team is John Glenn HS (Westland)
- Michigan weight classes are different from NFHS weight classes
- Don't try to keep an accurate match clock -- you can't. Just start the match clock and score the match as quickly as possible.
