X isn't working

Troubleshooting checklist

1. Verify your iPad has an Internet connection
2. In Takedown>>Settings, verify that you've Authorized Takedown to Post to X
3. In Takedown>>Settings, verify that X is turned on, slide Post Scoring to X to the right.

Also, many public Wi-Fi networks, especially in primary and secondary schools, intentionally block X traffic.  This means that even a proper X configuration will not operate correctly and your live score posts will not appear on your team's X timeline.

In contrast, Takedown LIVE auto-posting is not blocked on public networks -- it should always get through.  Takedown LIVE is a more reliable way to post live scoring results.

X and Takedown LIVE can be enabled at the same time. This is a recommended configuration as it maximizes your audience.
