Video -- Preparing and Managing a YouTube account

Required

1. Get a free Google account. See this YouTube support article..
   Important Tip: create a team-focused account that will survive coach, athlete and parent turnover.

2. In Takedown>>Manage VIdeo, sign into YouTube using your Google Account and grant all of the requested access privileges, If you don't grant all of the privileges, Takedown's video features will not work correctly.

3. Create a YouTube channel to enable uploading Takedown-created video. See this YouTube support article..

1. Verify your YouTube account. See this YouTube support article. Takedown requires this verification to upload wrestler photos as custom thumbnails for YouTube videos.

2. YouTube imposes a daily video upload limit for new and unproven accounts. In the course of time, this daily limit will increase as the account establishes a track record of not violating YouTube's community guidelines. You can take action to accelerate this process so that you can upload more videos each day. See: Increasing YouTube Daily Upload Limit YouTube support article.

Don't do these things

• Use multiple YouTube channels for uploading Takedown-created video. Use the same YouTube Account and Channel for signing into YouTube in Takedown.
• Use your personal YouTube account for your team. This will always create problems. Get a team-focused YouTube account.
